This new paper by David Steven, Senior Fellow at the Centre on International Cooperation (CIC), considers the role that global goals can play after the MDGs expire in 2015.
In particular, it:
- Explores what different types of development goals can (and cannot) achieve.
- Sets out options for integrating poverty and sustainable development goals.
- Clarifies the choices that must be made if the post-2015 development agenda is to end poverty within a generation.
